Thanks to the patience of Mr. Phil North and the expertise of your Technician Simon, the problem seems to have been resolved and the car now runs better that it has ever done since I bought it. "Following substantial work Arundale has recently done on my Peugeot 307, I just wanted to write and say how pleased I was with the level of service I received.  After Barkers closed and a bad experience at the York Peugeot dealership, it was with some trepidation that I booked the car in.  Nicola John was hugely professional and very clear and concise in explaining what work needed to be done to the car and the costs involved - emailing everything over to me was a nice touch.  Nicola also arranged a hire car with very little notice which was at Arundale when I arrived.

"Throughout the last 11 years we have been running Peugeots as fleet cars and you have been servicing mine  I can honestly say I have never had cause to moan or complain about Arundales - you are a friendly, efficient, customer-focused business who know how to treat clients. This level of service is not what my colleagues across the North of England tend to get from their local dealers - they are envious of the service I receive from yourselves.
Sadly company policy has resulted in a change of fleet policy in that we are moving to Volvo and Ford for the next term, however, if after the first years warranty, I am not satisfied with the dealership I will hand the servicing back to yourselves.

"I am writing to compliment you on your choice of staff and the quality of your training.
In December 2007 my father in law bought a TomTom Satellite Navigation system from your parts department. It was my Christmas present and he took care to give me the receipt just in case anything should go wrong. I appear to have "filed it securely" and when a fault developed and the unit needed to be repaired I could not locate said invoice and needed a duplicate.
I looked up your parts department on the Internet and called them. I spoke to a gentleman named Nick who could not have been more helpful. He explained that (quite rightly) he could not just print a duplicate but would need to look up the original on your system first. This he attempted to do even though on two occasions he was working with the incorrect information. 'Eventually when I finally gave him the correct details he was easily able to locate the sale and has promised to issue a duplicate for me to collect.
During all three telephone conversations I had with Nick he was polite and took great pains to assist me in my difficulty. These days we are quick enough to complain when things are done badly but do not show the same enthusiasm to praise a job well done. Nick had nothing really to gain in this transaction, he just provided excellent customer service and I commend him for this.

"I'm writing to you to with respect to the excellent level of customer care I recently received from Nicola.
Whilst being disappointed that my four year old Peugeot 307 needed a new cylinder head, the efficient handling of the situation and attention I received from Nicola was of a very high standard.
Understanding that living out of town I needed a car, she organised lifts to work for myself and my wife, arranged for a courtesy car and subsequently a hire car and also personally picked us up to enable us to swap these two cars over. I was kept well informed throughout and Nicola was so thorough that she even gave up some of her own time, on the Saturday morning we picked up the car, to be present at the garage to make sure we were satisfied with the service.
